M.D Autobiography
I was born in a very cultured and educated family. My father was in BSF and we had a very disciplined environment at home. My mother was determined to educate her children especially girls because we were living in a rural area. It was because of her efforts and sheer determination that I was the first proud girl in our village who completed her graduation. After this I got married and fortunately my in-laws were also very supportive and progressive in nature. My father in-law inspired me to pursue my study. After completing my masters I started working at CKD – Rasoolpur kalan Branch as a Principal. Thereafter I joined a newly opened school Sant Baba Labh Singh School at Guru Ki Ber as Headmistress. There I worked for five years and had 1600 students under my guidance. Then I thought to do something for the people of this area. I wanted to educate the people here so I started this school in 1996 with the support and motivation of my Father in-law and my husband. I also want to mention S. Niranjan Singh, cousin of my Father in-law and Retd. Principal of Government School, he guided and encouraged me and my Father in-law a lot in this regard. I dedicate my success to my parents, parents in-law my late husband and my sons and teachers. They all stood by me in my thick and thin and made school this a huge success.
